Exquisite Antique 14k Elgin wristwatch, unique gift ideas

A women's beautiful artdeco wristwatch by Elgin watch company cased in a solid 18ct white gold decorative case, the grossgrain strap is original to the watch and the clip fastening is 14k gold.

The watch features an ornate engraved bezel with a fine mille grain etched border, the sapphire cabochon crown enables easy winding. The timepiece has been very well looked after! An unusual piece that was very expensive in its day!

The watch runs well on a Swiss 15 jewel movement, the glass crystal and dial are in good antique condition with the seconds hand at six.
